    Never the less, there are people who possess a natural talent to sing and have never had any training whatsoever. There's a young woman in our church who can sing almost as well as this lady and hasn't had so much as a few minutes training. She never knew until she was in her twenties and joined the church worship team. They asked her to do a solo verse one day and that was it! Amazing she is!

    It so often happens, that some people, given the right encouragement, at the right time, can reveal hidden talents. I may have reservations about church and stuff but when I used to be in that environment I got no end of encouragement.

    I reckon it's all a big con, do you remember the actress that played mrs Doyle in father ted Pauline McLynn. she is quite an attractive actress done up to look the part,this is what has happened to Susan Boyle she is a beautiful trained diva done up to evoke sympathy, when she wins she will throw off the diguise to reveal who she really is.:hehe:

    I am inclined to agree Walnut because it was strange how that
    young lad on the programme last evening was stopped mid-track
    because he was rubbish and he just happened to have more music
    lined up to play - and he did a great rendition of a Michael Jackson
    song which got him through to the next round.

    Peeps! Its only a TV programme! There's a whole world out there to enjoy, rather than getting worked up over ANOTHER reality TV show, hosted by those two, little twerps, Ant and Dec!

    Where do you guys get the time to watch this stuff:scratch: The television is called the "idiot box" for a very good reason! Get down the pub. Meet some real idiots, I'll see you there:D

    Seeing this photo of the lady stood standing there reminds me of that great star of yesteryear Hylda Baker;
    whether or not she will become a star who is remembered in years to come is a moot point. Personally I tend to agree with those who think that her frumpy image is something of a gimmick and that if she'd been more glamorous her voice wouldn't have caused half the stir it has. She knows, yer know!
    Still, at least she doesn't send me rushing off for the Aspro with her singing like Paul Potts did.
    Thankyou very glad !
