Well them's growing, now for the next bit, is it better to grow them in a wig wam or on straight run of canes?

1.5meters of wire fencing from poundworld!
A few of these and you can do them however you wish.
I cut some sections of the square fencing, and did one as a tube, and a few circular pieces slotted into a base of 3-4 canes at regular intervals up and down and tied them on. You can really just get creative, as long as they can step up, they need to step as they can't reach very high without securing the next section.
Mine are already throwing flowers, I have hurst greenshafts and another unnamed.

Isn't that an eating pea? (rather than a sweet pea grown for flowers)

Peas are for eating, yeah. He didn't specify if he was growing ornamentals. I'd consider a sugarsnap a sweet pea as well.
If you are talking the ornamentals, I want out of this conversation :D.
I don't often do flowers for the sake of flowers.
      Maybe one day.

Edit: With exceptions to trumpet shaped flowers like Morning glory and the two woodroses.

Thank you, i think it dosn't matter if it's for pea's to eat or sweat pea's for flowers, it's a very good idea :dbgrtmb:

The only problem I have with "scramble netting" for Sweet Peas (or Peas) is untangling them from it when the crop is done. Rigid netting (or something else - canes / strings) is easier in that regard.
