@TheMadHedger , this is the colour of a budding Sweet Pea , top left in photo . It is what I describes as yellowy green . The flowers come out their true colour as below.

And now for my SP problem .... every year about now my SP's develop these brown spots on the bottom third of the plant . it's a bit unsightly but does not seem to effect the flowering.
What is it and is it doing any harm ?

      TIA

Another shot of the Matucana which has flowered its socks off and kept my small sweet pea vase full for a good few weeks now.

I, wrongly, accused Mrs Shiney of accidentally planting some sweet peas when she was planting the runner beans :love30:

There are quite a few of these growing there

But it turns out to be some sort of different coloured sport growing from the node between stems. Never seen this before

These have been the best of the best this year. Of the three varieties I sowed, this one has been flowering non stop!

Thank you for your kind reaction to my Matucana :heehee:

I have "Everlasting Sweet Pea" that I planted this year. It is just about to come into flower (planted it later than ought to). I know they do not have the fragrance of annual Sweet Peas, but I'm after height and colour and that fits the bill nicely.

Last year @martin-f planted Everlasting sweet peas and had a wonderful show; this year too it seems
