I'm at work now (using IE6), but if I have time this evening I'll get a screenshot.

    Here we go:

I suspect it is to do with the CSS style sheet. IE uses a different box model to FireFox. FF conforms with the W3C standards while IE has a different interpretation. There is a workaround but I can't remember it off the top of my head. There is a style property specific to the Mozilla family of browsers that tells them to behave like IE. I think the style properties required start '_moz' if I remember right.

I'm not seeing that in FF 3.5.3 (if I shrink my browser down to try to force narrower width - actually I don't get horizontal scroll bar until several pixels narrower than 1024, yet you appear to be getting one at 1024? Can't quite see in your picture, is your window maximised? )

Haven't looked at the CSS, but no obvious errors in HTML in the menu line ... but the Doc Type is XHTML and there are a fair number of tags that are capitalised or, possibly worse, capitalised on opening and lower case on closing:

    <B>...<b>
    and
    <A href="...">...</a>

Also tags where shorttag used - e.g. <img ...> whereas should be <img ... /> for XHTML / where SHORTTAG is off.

There is also some goofy stuff around the main banner picture - <tr><img ...> - i.e. the <td> is missing

Doubt either of those are the cause though, unless FF2 was more standards-fussy then FF3.5 - seems unlikely? XHTML indiscretions(!!) might be inducing a bug in FF2 I suppose ...

Been away for a few days-after my initial panic...."Oh no, I'll never understand all these new-fangled changes" passed, I like it. I won't be donating because I am tight as a gnat's you know what but looking good.

    Well done all of you.

Well I wondered where I was!
I haven't signed in for a week as been busy but I like the look of it all. I am getting used to the orangey colour and like the garden pics at the top.:)

    My window is maximised.

As far as I know, FF2 is fairly particular about standards by default, but can be told to chill in CSS. In any case, I doubt its a problem. IE has the biggest market share, and I suspect most who use FF keep up to date with the latest version, so as long as it looks ok in those two, I can't see it putting anyone off. The only reason I still use FF2 is because I'm running an out of date version of several things, and I'm a bit too lazy to upgrade. Computer season is nearly upon us now (when it is too cold and dark to be outside much so all my computing tasks that I've been putting off finally get done), so I'll update everything at some point.

    "My window is maximised."

    Sorry, misunderstanding.

My screen is bigger, so I shrunk my window down to 1024 x 800 to try to simulate, and induce, the problem you were seeing. Didn't happen though ...
