Tallest sunflower and largest head challenge

    Have you been up there on ladders to check for signs of a flower bud, and count the number of new leaves under the bud (if showing) to estimate the potential height? That's why I don't go for height any more, although I did get worried when it appeared my large headed variety plants might make over 10 foot tall and was wondering how I'd support large heads at that height.

      Yes i've been up the ladder, there's 4 flower heads, haven't counted the leaves but there is also some nice Runner Beans there to pick soon :wallbanging::Wino::snork:

                  A couple of Sunflower pics & the neighbours Cat, around 9ft tall, the flowers not the Cat.
                  In spring I bought some seeds from Wilko, these didn't grow and just rotted, so I used some Bird seed and below is the result.....
