Tallest sunflower and largest head challenge

No it's not too late I have sown some this weekend direct see if they do any better

 

Well guys looks like my best sunflower are going to flower around 5 foot a shame as they are really strong plants I have a few I have sown direct coming through see how they go

 

Yes mate maybe planting out just as we had all the wind and cold or maybe too long in a pot

 

Sorry to here that Rich, mine have hardly moved since I planted them out maybe just over a ft at the moment.

 

I'm shore that the will start moving once they have got settled in Martin

 

Been left in pots too long too :( first one is flopped/dead, the middle 2 are the evening sun (red and not tall, I believe) and last one has got a flower forming :(
Meh! Direct sown some yesterday

 

Mine are more for show, that's my excuse anyhow these here are all red apart from one mixed bunch on the end,


My everlasting sweet peas are doing best for height, this fence is 9ft and its just about at the top.

 

Mine are about to flower - potted for far too long! Will throw some seeds in later & see what happens.

Theres that bottle of Baileys again - it sure does get around

 

How do we know it's the same bottle

Mine are starting to get away after stalling when I planted them out

 

My tallest one is about 5 feet and growing, again planted with the runner beans
