@Snorky85 yours look great, Tatties are very heavy feeders and it is very difficult to overfeed them, I'm sure you will do very well with those.

I'm also sure silu's will eventually give a bumper crop - just a bit later

John's right, all that top growth just means they got more nutrient to draw back into the tubers when they're ready :spinning:

We get a question when the potatoes flower every year so i'm pre empting it this year...

"Oh poops" is very apt @Snorky85 :). Your Potato top growth looks very similar to what mine looks like but add about 4 ft to my lot! i am going to definitely split open 1 of the bags my greenhouse effots are growing in next week and will take a photo of the resulting crop. I may well have to use a magnifying glass to find the spuds tho. sigh!
Do you mean about Christmas time @JWK?:snorky:

Maybe you and I should be having a competition to see who can produce the worst spuds @Snorky85:)?
However, I think I can see some very good looking onions in your photo. Mine are resembling what look like Chives atm:sad:

The blight took mine out the year before so I didn't bother diging them out for xmas, then found a load of them when I dug the plot over in february

Ha ha good idea...i also have some in tubs in the garden and i only half filled the tubs with compost and forgot to top them up....so they are guaranteed to be poop. :rolleyespink: Lol.

Those onions went in in October so hoping it wont be long before theyre ready-theyve bolted too....apart from a few massive ones which are ok.

Last season I planted one row of Pots either side of a path, one lot came to hardly nothing, the other row had plenty of yummy new Pots....same seed Pots, why? I don't give up and won't let the b*****s beat me:rasp:

I used to grow enough to keep us in spuds for 5 months but have had to reduce this as I've become diabetic and spuds are no longer on the menu. However I've sown 6 King Ed's on the compost heap and they are doing brilliantly and should keep the rest of the family going for at least a couple of months if blight doesn't hit.
