I agree with you Frogesque on the 'death to Leylandii' [IMG] Was mortified when I went to a friends parents house and in their 15ft square garden they had a hedge of the monsters  They admitted that they had planted them to cover next doors gable end. Needless to say they've got rid of them now, but the conversation got quite heated!!
My baby cordylines are growing really quick and I can see the difference since Monday!! Yay! Feeling much better about cutting down the parent now

Windy, I have just separated one of the Cordyline babies from its parent yesterday and popped it in the ground. Thing is though when I did pull it off from its beautiful parent I went a flying and ended on my backside! Almost like a "serves you right" situation! Sure the neighbours were having a right laugh too.

This Cordyline parent has around 12 babies! The one I pulled off only had one single root but I just have a feeling its going to thrive as well as its Ma or Pa!

    Chin up! :D

Wish I'd seen that Royster, would have given me a right laugh :D :D
My babies are growing really quickly now the Mums gone and I can really see the difference in just a few days. Soon be posting about my Cordylines taking over the garden! Think I'm going to leave them in situ on the stump, coz the tremor caused by me landing on my backside would probably cause half of Asia to be swamped by a tidal wave! :D [IMG]
