Thank you all for your lovely comments. of course i think she's the best ;)

Whiley, it's funny but quite a few people have said that about Joyce (looking like other dogs). My neighbour once saw a dog up the road, and as Joyce never goes out on her own -unless she does a runner! - thought that she'd somehow got out. She said she was calling out her name but the dog took no notice. Of course once she got home & saw Joyce in the garden she felt such a twit :D

    Cheers

Borrowers, Cassy sometimes does'e a runner, if she gets a chance, she's 12 this year and still jumps the fence, even if the gates open! she went on the wonder about 4 weeks ago at 11 o clock at night, she had been to the dog groomers that day (Ã?£26) she loves to roll around in anything brown  Hub jumped in the car and found her 2 streets away, and yes she knew she was in trouble, hangdog eyes [IMG] .. luckily she hadn,t found anything brown to roll in....

    Haha cheeky monkeys :D

Madeline is a toad and will peg it at the first sight of a seagull, in any direction. We once thought we'd lost her off dock side into the water one day because she jumped out of the car to chase a seagull taking my sisters arm half way out the door with her >.< we saw her just go straight over, we all screamed!... and then realised the tide was out and she just hit sand and it wasn't that steep a drop and all fainted in relief :D

    Little cow.

Hi ydd & Whiley, what is it with them? Joyce first did it when we had our flat & she just legged it. A while later, 5 pups  .

She is not so bothered now, i think cos of her age, she's about the same as Cassie. But she used to push past you at the front door to do it, luckily she stays close - we have a small field at the bottom of the street - but i once found her in a street next to ours (well, the cul de sac off it) & it's not nice. i don't know what happened but something obviously did.

That's why i don't like her out on her own. I know she wouldn't hurt anyone or anything but it's what could happen to her. Also if she did go on the road (& she has no road sense) she could cause an accident.

YDD - only once have i seen Joyce jump the fence & that was into next doors garden when a cat was sitting on top of their gate really winding her up :D .

Whiley - seagulls, um, just seagulls? that's a new one to me. Must have been scary though when that happened.

For being generally clever, dogs can be so stupid sometimes can't they? [IMG]

    Any more stories anyone?

    Cheers
