      I may have posted this before, but during the summer when the cardboard waste is piling up I makes it into "Logs"

      A few mins with the paddle.

      And you get the pulp.

      Then make a bund of bricks.

      Pour the pulp in and leave to dry.

      Once its dry it'll readily soak up any waste oil you might have too:)

            I do more or less the same with newspapers, old dust bin full of water soak paper for 5 minutes then into a home made block press and leave to dry

            it's a bit expensive when newspapers are 50p- £1 :snork: to buy

            I used to stuff them with other stuff to make 'logs', but now only use to sow parsnips.

            Get friends, family, neighbours, etc. to give you all their paper & cardboard as if collected by the Local Authority they'll (the LA) only get about 2.5p per kilo and you're better off burning it rather than buying logs or coal rather than any recycling credits you'll get on your council tax bill.
