        I always think Chillis are a very good looking plant, when they are young. Like us they get a bit straggly when they get older :snork:

          Don't know about straggly need to get in the garden to lose some winter weight the only way I can see my feet is to take a photo on my phone

                    That wasn't last November. I just pulled those photos out of my files. I overwintered the chillies but by the time the had lasted five years they became a bit past it. In hot climates they are perennials.

                      My seeds get a 5 min soak in Yorkshire tea and not particularly weak either. Tea has something in it (the name escapes me) that softens the seed case to help it germinate. After that they go in seed trays and I put a couple of tea spoons of tea on top to water them in. Works a treat for me. Think I have about 40 varieties on this year but only have an 8x6 greenhouse !

                            No, I don't top them, at least, not in the first year. I've found that there is no marked increase in yield to warrant it.
