    I remember the game. :blue thumb:

    We always called it Gobs, as well, but is also know as Jacks, Jackstones, Five stones, knuckles tones and numerous other names. Apparently, they played it in ancient times using animal bones. :smile:

      Well......PVC jacket with big collar, military style jumper with patches on arms and shoulders, flared jeans , and what looks like a sweat band :biggrin:
      Whilst looking at old photos, I noticed 'wing' mirrors on cars :heehee:
      Edit: On Sheals car too. Didn't notice before.

                Thinking about it, parents were strange in the '70s. Horrified as they were at their darling eight/nine year old blasting out the Sex Pistols and Stiff Little Fingers, they actually banned me from playing this...............

                    I'm barely old enough to remember the 70's, but do remember a lot of things mentioned here (probably layovers into the 80's?)

                    The one thing I do regularly think is how things were generally much more neat and tidy in those days - - stations used to have hanging basket and garden competitions, roads were kept clean, parks and gardens (and cemeteries) were properly looked after - and graffiti? Well suffice to say it was very rare.
