The Camera in my Pocket... 2014..

Thanks Joolz. He doesn't get out much with his camera at the moment so pictures are few and far between.

 

A recent rash of moon photos prompted me to a get a t-mount so I could attach a camera to an old telescope - the scope is a cheapo thing with a spherical mirror instead of a parabolic one so there is lots of spherical aberration away from the centre of the shots.

Nevertheless, here are some test pics from my bedroom window:

The micro-nation of Sealand, 7 nautical miles off the coast of Felixstowe:

Interesting shots Colinn. It only goes to show we just don't know who's watching us and where from!

 

thank you Sheal - it did feel a little weird "spying" on people from afar - if I could lip read I would have known what they were saying - but all in the spirit of discovery - won't be making a habit of it - just a few more test shots to err... calibrate stuff ... then I'll stop ;-)
