That image will be really useful the next time somebody asks how to eradicate Bindweed!

A visit to Pitlochry last week on the way home from Perth (@silu ) and well worth the trip. It's a pretty town and Mr S. and I spent a good few hours there looking around.

Once again I was caught out by the fact I had to cross a suspended footbridge and no, I'm not getting used to them! :hate-shocked:With other people on the bridge I was almost reduced to crawling across. :eeew: Just below the bridge you may be able to see a dot in the river to the right.....

......and this is what you can see. Anglers on the River Tummel.

Pitlochry's dam - and at the bottom of the picture the start of the salmon fish ladder which is quite a length for them to negotiate.

The ladder passes under the road and back up the other side.....

Great photos @Sheal. Visited the Salmon ladder many years ago but still remember seeing the Salmon fighting their way upstream.

We found a wild young rabbit in the veg plot that was looking rather groggy. So Mrs Shiney picked it up and ministered to it.

It didn't seem too fit at first
                            P1340561.JPG

But she made up one of her concoctions and fed it to the rabbit with a pipette
                            P1340562.JPG

It then started to gradually pick up

                            P1340565.JPG

A nice scratch under the chin (she doesn't do that to me! ) P1340569.JPG

Sarafi was keeping an eye on the proceedings
                            P1340571.JPG

It then started moving around so Mrs Shiney took it for a stroll up the road, put it in a field, gave it a stroke on the head and it ran away.
