It must be some while since you were there @Kandy as the bridge is now metal. You were very brave, there's no way you'd get me anywhere near a rope bridge. :thud:

@Sheal we took Mr Kandys parents there when we were staying up in Ullapool in 1981 and went back there in the early nineties yes it has been a long time and we have never been back there since as we spent the next twelve years exploring other parts of Scotland:smile:

Hope you are enjoying Scotland now that you have taken up residence there. Our favourite Island is Mull and Iona although we also fell in love with the Orkney Isles but as it was treeless when we stayed there I don't think I could make it my forever home:biggrin:

@Scrungee on Breakfast TV this morning they had a feature about mistakes on signs. :heehee:

In one town there's someone who goes round correcting shop signs - adding or removing apostrophes.

I saw that on Breakfast TV this morning @shiney and it did make me laugh out loud that someone who hasn't got better things to do with his life apart from sleep goes out to do this.Gorilla gardening would go down better:biggrin:

Mr S and I loving it here @Kandy and looking forward to finding and buying our own home, that is proving elusive at the moment though. I think I said elsewhere that we're hoping to visit Skye this year. Although we'd visited Scotland many times before moving up here we missed out on the islands, that will have to be put right of course! :)

Sorry @Sheal I seem to have missed this post:doh:Glad that you and Mr S are both enjoying being up in Scotland especially to live there.I keep looking on Right Move at a lot of houses as some of them have nice big gardens and cheap at half the price but I am now beginning to think we are getting a bit too old to take on too much land.Mr Kandy said years ago that he could quiet easily live in Scotland but now he is on the wrong side of sixty five I don't think he would be too keen:whistle::biggrin:

We visited Skye a few years ago which was nice but Mull is still our favourite island although we enjoyed Dumfries and Galloway when we visited years ago.At least you wouldn't have to many traffic problems pumping out nasty fumes although tourists in the summer can be a problem:smile:

Good Luck with your search and hope you both find the home of your dreams:smile:
