I allway laff when i see this sort of thing as some people dislike lorrys that hold them up especially when it's long or wide loads even better when it's long and wide and you have to get it around a tight corner

The good old lorry has to haul a boat or sometimes a train from one side of the country to the other side

 

I wonder why ?
They bring underground trains on the back of lorries up to Rosyth for refurbishment, with police escorts and all the hold ups whilst trying to get around corners and narrow roads

Why do they not just put them on the rails and have a Diesel Electric engine pull them up here ?

 

Cost, But surely one Diesel Electric pulling twelve coaches is cheaper and safer than twelve extra large lorries covering 500 miles ?
