@latimer lovely to see the photo of Latimer House. My aunt used to live in Penn, and I remember as a child the tall chimneys of Latimer House.

 

A beautiful day on the island of Tiree on Saturday. One of the days when it lived up to its name of the sunshine isle.

The replacement for our local news last Monday[?] was a repeat of an episode of Sean's Scotland, the tv series he did a while ago - he's the usual weatherman on STV news. It was the one from Tiree, and I'd seen it before, but it was far more enjoyable than the news anyway!

@fairygirl I know the episode you mean. I have relatives in it. At least it would have been more positive than most news stories.

...and yes- definitely more positive than the news!

 

This afternoon I went for a walk along a section of the Wirral Way, a former railway line, mostly the small paths leading to it, with photos of wildflowers, the estuary and a seagull! It was good to feel a sense of spring in the air .
