It's been a sunny day so I went for a little drive and took a few photos :-

River Tywi from Cilsan bridge, looking towards Carmarthen
    ...

    127_5909.JPG

Dryslwyn and the castle (what remains of it)
    from Penrhiwgoch ...

    127_5912.JPG

    Zoomed in a bit ...

    127_5913.JPG

Lots of fields around Nantgaredig are still under water ! I couldn't take photos, you can't stop on the A40, it's too dangerous.

Snowdrops flowering in the hedgerows ...

Away at the moment thanks for posting your pics of back home especially the Snowdrops, me I only have a small patch of them in a very old stone planter out my back garden, @Michael Hewett

I've got some clumps in the garden too @Valleysgirl  but they are always slower than the wild ones.

I have a few snowdrops in my garden but they are all on their own, i.e. not in a clump. No idea why, as I'm sure that I planted them in a clump.

        1) They had a row (families!)
        2) The kids moved out.

My first visit this year to Ness Botanic Gardens today. Lots of spring interest including snowdrops and Hellebores with scents from Hammamelis and Daphne.

All your photos are worthy of an entry into this month's Photo Competition @latimer, but trying to choose three may be difficult .

                      Thanks all!

@Busy-Lizzie on any day I have to be up before dawn for morning prayers so it’s just a case of putting my shoes on and heading out!

@Valleysgirl i suspect it’s a little bit warmer where you are :) this morning it has warmed up a little to 2deg

@Plantminded i shall take a look at this month’s completion, I’m sure i can whittle it down to 3. Maybe.

Lovely photos, I like the bank with the primroses @Plantminded. Are there bluebells coming up? I love the scent of gorse.
