No, I'm not at all keen on that car either! Still, it was ideal for this thread, well caught, Woo. Also the two on the previous page.

Lovely pic of you feeding the hummers, Doris! :gnthb: How tame they are! How long did it take you to get them to sit on your hand, and then three of them, wow!

I didn't know that they were that far north?

What did you do to get them on your hand, soak it in nectar???:)

Oh, I didn't know that hummingbirds could be found so far north, Strongy. I always thought of them as birds that need a lot of warmth.

I bet that pink scooter with the white seat is a collectors piece, Nathan.

    Lovely pics, 02.

Sadly, I pretty much only get a chance to take photos whilst on my hols, but here is the start of some to share. I just have a point and shoot, and know nothing about how to edit and alter shots on a computer, so basicly what you see is what you get.

    Many thanks.:)

The paler looking of the cow shots were taken using a very very old point and shoot Sony Cybershot. The moon shot and firework shot, were on my new Panasonic Lumix (I think that is what it's called)
The Hawk moths and remaining shots were taken using my elderly point and shoot Fuji Finepix. Its very battered and bruised, as it's my work camera. The macro on it is brilliant, but sadly it lacks a view finder, so half the time you are shooting blind. It must be very well constructed camera though, as it's been dropped onto concrete and even survived a dunk in a bowl of water!
I'm very disappointed with the 'new' Panasonic. It seems to really struggle when taking landscape shoots. They are either to dark or to bright. Trying to get a compromise is just about impossible. And the macro is no where near as good as on my simple Fuji, which is a shame as I enjoy using macro.

Here is a few more for you.

    Paws and reflect...

I also enjoy just having a bit of fun. Again all taken with the point and shoot Fuji
