Kathy, I do envy you the view you get to see every day, it is marvellous as it changes all the time with the seasons and the time of day. :gnthb:

Roders, your asters are a dream. :gnthb: We've never had any luck with them, and we've tried many times. Guess you have the right soil and climate.

Got both of these pics when we were on a short break in Zwickau (former DDR) earlier this week.

Saw these springy clogs in a shoe shop. The lady told me that they had been out for about 10 years and especially people on their feet all the time, she said nurses, loved them as they relieved, or rather, prevented, backache. I must admit that I've never seen them before.

Sorry about the unclear pic, had the camera set wrong. Doh!

This young fella was taking a break from playing his guitar by writing SMS's, nothing against that. What got me was the credit card machine for tips!!!!!

Novel Kedi, did you buy a pair? I guess that is where 'putting a spring in one's step 'came from:hehe:, what's that in German?

Cheeky busker! It makes sure you can't drop a couple of Euros in as there is a minimum limit with a card. I wonder if anyone fell for it.

No, I didn't, strongy, because of two things. One the price of €80-odd put me off and also, I didn't know if I would have any problem wearing wooden clogs. The last time I tried, my feet almost killed me. Strange, as many years ago when they were in fashion, I used to wear them a lot.

Somebody was obviously determined to get free energy by having a wind turbine and solar cells!

Love the clogs, Kedi. Although I'm not sure I'd want to be nursed by someone who was impersonating a character from the Magic Roundabout. Boi-oi-oi-n-ng! Time for bed, said Zebedee.
