    Hi there Trunky..
Very nice!! And what a beautiful scenery! Is this close to where you live? I must admit I've only once been to the UK and have not a clue as to where East Sussex might be
There are sooo many beautiful spots in the world. I've lived in the Big Apple in Hamburg and in Miami but I've turned into a true small town gal since then and would not wanna live in a big city again..nope. Thank you for the lovely pics

    Thanks for all the comments.
It's not that close to where I live Luckyluna, about 3 or 4 hours drive from home for me.

Here's another interesting place I visited while in the area.
This is Wayland's Smithy in Oxfordshire, a neolithic burial mound which sits on high ground in a remote location, surrounded by a ring of mature Beech trees.
It was a rather gloomy day when I visited, but it did provide for some atmospheric shots.

Went to a local hotel to check if they'd put any plastic veggie crates out for us to collect, and was surprised to see where this cat was sheltering from the elements.

I wish I had my camera with me when we went out walking in the village yesterday. There was a cat sitting bolt upright at the apex of the roof of a house, right at the very end of the roof, and calmly surveying the area. At first I thought it was a statue put up there until it turned its head to stare down at me.

Further on our walk we saw this sign and my friend remembered that he had a camera on his phone.

A pleasant Sunday afternoon stroll along the banks of the Deben estuary near Woodbridge at low tide.
It's a tranquil, unspoilt area with nothing but the haunting cry of the Curlew and the Oystercatcher to be heard across the fields and marshes.

Delightful pictures Trunky. Loads of "atmosphere" if you know what I mean. A bit sinister - remind me of Charles Dickens/David Copperfield scenes,
