Ooops, Bu.......!!!!!, multi-functioning again.......sorry, Trunky I've been agreeing with everyone because I like the pics so much and then got finger trouble. Thanks for the Heads Up, Sheal, and I've rectified it. As I said originally great pics and very atmospheric.:snork:

Thanks for all your kind comments. :blue thumb:
The Orwell estuary is a lovely area for a walk, with constantly changing views as the river winds its way from Ipswich down to Felixstowe.
Interesting fact: The author George Orwell (real name Eric Blair) whose family lived in Suffolk, is said to have taken his pen name from the river, being most enamoured of its subtle charms.

Just been on a short walking break, wandering around the Marshwood Vale in Dorset.
A few photos from my meanderings.

The stunning sight that greeted me as I opened the curtains at first light one morning. Early morning mist across the vale.

A couple of pictures taken from the top of Pilsdon Pen. First one is looking towards Lewesdon Hill, said to be the highest point in Dorset, although the locals insist Pilsdon Pen is higher.

Saw this on the wall by the front door while wandering round Pilsdon churchyard. Made me smile.

Looking back towards Pilsdon Pen as the storm clouds gather in late afternoon, I got back just in time too!
