Excellent shot A. Can't do that with mine unless I buy an extension tube and close up lens, which if wanted Jenny, will fit on the fz45.

I would love to hear that you've bought a DSLR, Strongy, as I really believe that you could, just on the strength of the images we've seen with your present camera, that you could do really great things with one.
I chose a Pentax DSLR because of the fantastic historical range of high quality old lenses that can be bought so cheaply and used on it. I'd only had the lens [a Pentax M Macro 50mm f4 lens bought cheaply from e-bay] I used for the "House in a raindrop" shot for about two days and that was my first amble around with it. :hapydancsmil:

Took a detour coming back from Oxford and saw something I'd not noticed before

Here's a quick one I took a couple of weeks ago at work.
I was going to enter it in the November photo comp with its 'shadows' theme, but I've already used up my three allowed entries for this month.

Just thought it made a nice pastoral winter scene.

I've just spent a little time going back through this thread. :blue thumb: I've started at the begining and there are some really good photos that I had forgotten about. The thread was started five years ago.

A great shot, Shiney:thumbsup::snork: I've been waiting for a good Sunset but so far there's either been those that have been hidden by thick clouds or just a watery insipid lemon colour.:gaah::dunno::snork:

We quite often get good sunsets but rarely get good sunrises like that.
