I keep my chillies in the house until June , when they go in the GH . I only keep 2 chillies as they grow so big , and give the rest away. From July I feed every 2- 4 weeks with Tom feed. I also hold back the watering to let them wilt a couple of times . This is occasionally intentional but mainly in error :snorky: I understand this "standardises " the flavour , so you don't have one hot one bland one hot etc..but who knows if this works :dunno:

Two of the ‘Apache’ are up. Eight days after sowing, pleased with that :)

Mine are nice and cosy in the bijou light-box, precariously balanced between the end of my desk and the bookcase . Just pricked out 6 each of Jalapeño and Tokyo Hot (Cayenne type ). I'll only grow two on in the greenhouse . The others will be orphaned off too good homes. :blue thumb:

My Jalapeno Peppers under LED are starting to blossom!! :snorky:
The first small green fruit are starting to appear.

I was surprised to see how LED grow lights keep the plants dense and bushy.

I can't wait to eat it on a good homemade pizza:stirpot:

@Scrungee , I need (I think) to pot on the seedlings on the left. I would normally put them in 3” pots. I’m wondering if I’d be better off putting them in something smaller?

                              C985E8CA-B548-4192-8FA5-E4CF67159E5C.jpeg

Maybe a bit of root restriction is in order.

                              What do you reckon?
