gbrelepri_com.png Solar panels just starting to kick in now so time for some payback for the next few months. Wholesale electric price down 60% yoy and we get a 12% drop.

This is getting as bad as the petrol price manipulations. Slow to drop rapid to rise when the market moves.

Surely electricity has been a rip off for ages, they keep wittering on about cheap green energy and and all these wind farms, but the price just goes up.

We are not reliant on Russia for electricity, maybe some from Europe but we still have inflated prices.

They have just stated that the energy companies are owed 3 billion in unpaid bills and everyone is having money added to their annual bill to pay for it.

So we can assume they are not chasing people for money they owe, but the people they show us on TV are struggling to pay off what they owe?

So we pay extra to cover the debt but the companies still want their money from the people concerned?

So did something frugal yesterday. Was working on making some homemade soup. Then I opened a can of chicken to make chicken salad for the next day, took the juice in the can and poured it into the soup.

So I also have a cup of grits leftover from two nights ago. Not wasting that. Will mix it in with some ground sausage, and add an egg, spices, and fry it up. Normally people put bread crumbs in, grits will be just fine.
