The single biggest issue is lack of education.

It would seem that a lot of people these days don't have the first clue about nutrition, and have no idea how to cook anything that doesn't go in the microwave.

I sometimes wonder if the lack of education is aggravated by popular cooking programs, recipes on line, and YouTube. These things making cooking seem like rocket science. I've seen 'simple' recipes that call for about 20 different exotic ingredients, which you have to grind, toast at a specific temperature for a specific time in a specific pan, add this at this point, remove this at this point, cool it in iced water. Add back in etc etc.

My view is if you wanted complicated food prepared professionally, go to a restaurant. If you want good wholesome food at home, it's super simple. I can prepare a healthy, tasty meal for four in about 20 mins in my one electric wok.

They do look a bit small, maybe need three of those to cope with a single 9kg washing machine load. Whereas we can stuff the lot in our tumble dryer and they are done in 45 minutes.

What happens when there is a second washing machine load or sometimes a third, where do all the damp clothes go for those several hours.

They don't make sense to me.

For £9 15s you could afford to buy two.

Except that the weekly wage back then must have been around £5?

How can it be infra super? That's a total contradiction. Infra being sub, under, lower and super being on top of, above, higher, greater.

Infrasonic for example, slower than the speed of sound. Supersonic, faster than the speed of sound.

Or maybe it's in a quantum superposition.

Nah, it was in the days before ultra-sophisticated marketing techniques, that's all. It was probably a tenuous and spurious reference to infra-red  Whatever, it used to cook the washing to a turn....

It's also got Vibrovection and a static switch control giving 12 different heat levels. It seems technology has taken several steps backwards from days of old.
