Did you know that if you are not using a room and swith the light off you will save on your bill
Did you know that if you turn down your heating to half you will save on your bill by 30%
Did you know that you can use a roll of fabric across the bottom of your door it may stop draughts
Did you know that if you use your shower for half the usual time you will save 30% of your bill
Did you know that using an old army great coat on top of your dovet you will be warmer

All those over 50 do not need to answer

And when you are finished baking and have turned the element off, leave the oven door open to let the heat dissipate into the room.

Does it have to be an old one?

So I should use it once every two months instead of once a month. :ideaIPB:

It certainly does! I usually shop around by phone and get a much better deal by haggling. Last year I didn't get offered too good a deal by any of them so, for the first time, I tried a comparison site. On confused dot com I got a really good deal (I'm fussy about the terms and conditions) from Flow who are the online part of LV. It was 40% cheaper than LV with exactly the same cover. It was also nearly 20% cheaper than any other quote from a reputable company.

I usually pay around £300 car insurance, last year someone said try the NFU.
They took all my details and came up with well over £1000.:yikes:

I had a mate whose wife worked for the insurance side of the NFU and he said they were worth a try and open for business from everyone not just farmers.

I got a quote from NFU as well. Ridiculously high price. More than the car was worth.

NFU quoted me £770 last year and I got exactly the same cover from Flow for £236 and vouchers for once a month car wash from Confused dot com through whom I did the deal.

The heat will dissipate into the room anyway. Basic physics, it has to go somewhere. It'll just take a lot longer with the door shut.

I have been with LV for the past two years, as they maintained the price. Never heard of Flow, I'll have a look when the insurance is due.
