My Ex's Uncle did the stained glass repairs for The Duke for Windsor Castle. His studio is part of his house so The Queen and Phil The Greek visited to see how work was progressing. He was asked to leave his own studio by a Royal escort whilst the Queen and The Duke had a royal domestic. She couldn't understand why the proposed firefighter depicted in one scene was wearing contemporary uniform. She said it looked too new and took a while to be convinced otherwise :(

Forget Crabbies ginger beer (not difficult) - but will someone, somewhere PLEASE get rid of the Curry's/PCWorld adverts? :gaagh::gaagh:

We've had 'em morning, noon and night since the beginning of December. At what point will they realise that whilst they may have money to burn on prime-time TV ads., we don't want their products - especially, since the 'amalgamation' when all the PC Weld 'bit' now offers is computers, peripherals and anti-virus software (hardly a bit of any other software in the place).

Oh, and just in case you've missed it, DFS have got a sale on - apparently!! :loll:

As for Phil the Greek - I rather liked the slightly unfortunately phrased report I heard which said, 'It is hoped that HRH will be able to rejoin other members of the royal family tomorrow for the traditional shooting.' I often wondered how they decided who to cut out of the Civil List!
