Yes it will be.....can't wait! :hapydancsmil:

Now why didn't I think of that?!

Glad you're here.....what's happening with the bollards?

Oh no! :heehee: What about starting one on the "Child" migrants of Calais? On second thoughts...:mute:

Thanks:dbgrtmb:.....the gloom is lifting now. Onwards and upwards :)

Thanks FC. Good luck with your new job:blue thumb:

Hi Woo....you've been very quiet. Hope you're alright.:)

Hope you're alright an all

Dunno Tony...don't know what's going on?
There's s*d all in my garden as it needs starting from scratch so there's nowt to photo. Even my pots are a bit of a mess as I haven't been well enough to look after them. :frown:

Hate long dark winters but that tree you've got there is beautiful!

Now you usually start some very interesting threads but I don't blame you for stopping if no one joined in. Sorry I didn't reply but depression is a mare. :)

    Guilty! :snorky:

Thanks ...feeling better now :spinning:

Hi Anthony, the Tapatalk "thingy" only involved "members" who were using GC via Tapatalk to hide possible nefarious activities. What few bona fide members were using Tapatalk went over to using a browser and are happy with it. I think it's just a quiet period that happens every now and then.:dunno::snorky:

Agree it's been quiet. I thought it was just one of those things. In my case I've been making the most of the dry weather before the clocks change next weekend.
Autumn colours haven't really shown yet around my garden and the cool spring kept many things quiet.
I think activity will increase with the arrival of seed and plant catalogues stimulating thoughts of the new growing season.

Yes, things slow down around now. All we need are some controversial subjects to bat around.

We don't seem to be saying much about the Trump/Clinton debacle. :noidea: Then there's the 'Third Runway' debate, HS2, 'The Jungle' fiasco, Wayne Rooney :heehee:, Zika, EU/Cananda deal (CETA), Justin Bieber

Anyone want to start them off?

Just a question - don't look it up on the internet :) - does anyone remember what HS1 was? :snorky:

Wayne who? More seriously now he is in the twilight of his career perhaps gardening and a presence here wouldn't be bad for him.
The Third Runway debate has years left to run with appeals, reviews, protests etc.
HS1 was the link from the Chunnel to St Pancras.
The Walloons are doing their level best to scupper CETA.

Poldark is gripping at the moment in one way or another and there is talk on the net about the so called rape scene between Ross and Elizabeth although It didn't look much to me like she was resisting much:snorky: although the way Demelza smacked Ross in the mouth when he returned the next morning and floored him was ace:yes:. I just hope she ends up with the very nice Dr Dwight but I expect Delmelza will probably end up with the soldier boy who has his beady eye on her:snorky:

Also enjoying Tutankhamun Sunday evenings which replaced Victoria and also watching The Victorian Slum,The Yorkshire Vet plus Bake Off and Autumn Watch plus other stuff if I am not falling asleep so don't have a lot of time for gardening forums at the moment as now retirement is here we have more time to get out to do the things we enjoy, health and weather permitting:snorky:

Well done, HS1 is High Speed 1, the high speed link from London to our side of the Chunnel.

Officially CTRL (Channel Tunnel Rail Link).

More questions to come - but no looking them up. I'd prefer guesses if you don't know the answers :)

What would a tailor do with his plonker? :roflol:

The bword child arising from a brief encounter between aldershot and Clapham.

It has a second related meaning. To mass broadcast a common parasitic problem reputed to be rife among liberal people that results in an embarrassing itch.
