The Gardeners Arms (always open)

Even with bleach bathing it to get the red tones out first it still goes a lovely shade of orange with the strongest vol of peroxide and a purple/blue toner. It's so porous :( I've given up bleaching it unless I want to go bright red/pink.

 

So ....

... who is providing the entertainment?

 

Well, I'm all set up for the evening. Got the cricket on the radio, a pint of Adnams in a good old fashioned beer mug and a seat at a table in the Gardener's Arms.



That beer mug is a bit of a family heirloom, it came from a pub which my Grandparents ran back in the 1940s. Like many pubs, it's long gone now.

 

I only ever dyed my hair once. Well actually stripped the colour then dyed blonde. What a mistake - I had short hair at the time and landed up looking like Rod Steward/burnt out old hooker. Dyed it back as close to my natural colour as possible, the very next day...

I'm enjoying the fire. I would like it if everything stayed in the 80F range year round, night and day ...

 

@ARMANDII The one on the left is me.... that must be @"M" on the right because she sounds athletic and I am sure, can throw her legs up in the air higher than moi..

 

Ahh bless you Lori, did it put you off for life? I really have had some hair don'ts.. I still get a thrill everytime I dye it.

Turn it up to 90f, I'd be happy with that! No bitchin' here, looove the hot weather!

Hair disaster, back in the Seventies, I assisted my young new wife to go Blonde, it turned out BRIGHT GREEN,
In the forces it was a definite no no :-)
We lived in Gibraltar at the time, I cycled all over the rock but everything shut after 18:00
So in desperation it was soot from the chimney that had to do the cover up for work next day :-)
