    I had a nice lunch - leftover macaroni/beef casserole, three pieces of fudge and a box of smarties :)

    I'll be coming up to cocktail time soon.

    Client didn't show this afternoon - bad girl... sent me a message that she couldn't make her 1 o'clock which I recieved at 3. She wanted to pop by tomorrow and since I didn't want to start cocktail time being angry with myself, I told her[​IMG] No. See you on Monday and set a firm time... Now I'll be in the mood to enjoy my evening :)

      I like vanilla danish things, are cinnamon swirls danish too? I love them and those maple pecan plaits.

        "Always open" but no one here :sad:

        So I've got a Naga Lamb curry on the simmer in the kitchen and in will be ready in time for the breakfast menu I'm chalking on the board. To give a slight nod to convention at breakfast time the starter will be porridge.

        Some clever clogs has been playing around with the chalk board. I see that the Rissoles and chips has had the bottom right leg of the R rubbed out :nonofinger:. This is not allowed in polite company - so it's OK in here :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

            Just popped in for a spritzer. My poor fingers have lots of bandaids decorating them as my skin has split from working in the cold, er, I think that's why.

            Going to be lazy and bake a pizza for supper. 4 cheese and bacon. Anyone like a slice of cholesterol?

              Whisky and Canada Dry is the special here this evening - been a surreal sort of day at work today. Had two vehicles break down on me in quick succession, loads of thank you's and generally nice chats with people - one woman who said she wants to put in a commendation about me, and two marriage proposals. Not bad for my thirteenth day on duty.......

              Off tomorrow and Monday, so alcohol is the way forward.... :biggrin:

                      Ooooh, gin - not me. Makes me violent, and that is something that I am never under any other circumstances.

                      When Mrs C and I first got together, I had been 'Mickey-Finned' (had my drink spiked) with gin on a night out, and my flatmate of the time made some comment about Mrs C that I didn't like. We were in the hallway when he said it, and for his trouble got lifted and chucked onto the sofa in the living room which broke the sofa, and he was BIG lad (23 stone roughly). I am horrid on gin, so never touch the stuff.

                          Let's put the juke box on and have a good old knees up yo the memory of Chuck Berry who died today.
