    For Sam.

Later today you will regain your grace, elegance and dignity.
All your suffering will be behind you.

Farewell my friend, we'll remember you as you were in your prime, a stunner!

Cross that rainbow bridge, meet up with your old mates Sprinkle and Jazz.

We'll miss you Sam as will your absent owners!

No photo (as yet) at the moment but would still like to post a tribute to our beloved Crystal, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who crossed the bridge on 25th March.

I'm So sorry I couldn't have done more Crystal, another 2 minutes and you'd still be here with us, maybe you wanted to go? Now you have. No more pain now Wizz, you've gone to join your mate Sprinkle and son Jazz, give them hell girl!

Being selfish, who's going to tell me when it's time for bed now? your bed is still beside my side of our bed and I am missing your snoring, I'm still leaving leftovers for "your" breakfast.

We all miss you, even your nemesis Shadow!

Your ashes are back home now, along with Sprinkle and Jazz, in that drawer, next to your bed, next to my side of the bed.

      Gone but never forgotten.

As any cat lover on here will know, one of the reasons we love them is because of their wonderfully contrary nature.

So, after a long, cold winter, on the first really warm summery day here for months, with new life bursting forth and birdsong all around, our dear old cat Poppy took her leave and left us today.

She had been with us for the past 14 years and was probably around 20 years old altogether, we 'inherited' her in 1999, so she had been in the family for many years.

She was a loveable old thing, affectionate and good company all the time. Never the most energetic (even for a cat), she would often amble up the garden, in her own good time, to see what I was up to and if I needed any 'help'.

She was quite content to sit on your lap purring contentedly, or follow you around the garden occasionally pouncing on a stray leaf, she didn't mind which, so long as she could keep you company she was content.

I try not to get overly sentimental about pets, but I have to admit I shall miss her around the place. So long old friend.

Aww, Trunky, I am so, so sorry to hear about Poppy.

Goodnight, Godbless Poppy. And thank you for all the warmth, joy and light you gave to Trunky and family during your time there.

Gorgeous markings! And the picture with the bluebells sets her off beautifully.

What a lovely eulogy Trunky. I have a lump in my throat and I think it is a sad day for you today. But what a little treasure she was, and she was so happy to have you as family,
            RIP Poppy,
