I bought 2 X Bernard Mathews turkey brests in Morrisons on Thursday half price. I have never bought anything in the Mathews range before, but I wanted to make a stand agains anti paniking.

They were reduced from £3.99 to £1.99 and sold as turkey brest jount" when I got home and looked at the contents, it turns out they are injecteds with water!

Well the dogs will not read the packaging I am sure!

Oh and I eat propper butter, would not even consider low calorie stuff, I would rather not bother.

Hi, Waco. That's one thing I hated about England ... there are so many foods injected with water. The bacon was positively gross I remember.

Yes bacon does not fry in the pan anymore, it boils! I do have a good butcher that gets propper bacon, he also supplies me with dog meat - all lean beef trimmings, so no BM the turkey is not really a treat for the dogs, but I am sure they will suffer it ;)

brilliant about the jeans LoL, I need a new pair, but I won't have dropped 2 sizes.

I love Coronation Chicken, I think we have had this discussion on a recipe thread somewhere.

Re Coronation Chicken, you are right Waco ... sometime ago (last Autumn perhaps) I asked for it and, if I remember correctly, both you and BM gave me recipes. A lovely summer's supper.
