The Kindness of other People

This is what it's all about:

Spain 'will accept disputed migrant ship'

Malta and Italy refused to let the ship dock - they should hang their heads in shame .

Spain has just shot up in my estimation .

 

Done another good deed for someone, but can't say too much

Worse bit is i pulled a few mussles in helping to sort the problem, but that's me

 

Saved a lamb this morning when we went for a walk, heard a lamb bleating it's head off so went to have a look and it had it back legs tanged in sheep wire

This is getting to common saving lambs

Since we're talking about the kindness of other people, I have to say that a friend has been wonderful to my grandson. My friend is moving back up to Thunder Bay and instead of having the movers just pack up all of his belongings and shift them, he donated lots of great dishes and cutlery and small kitchen appliances for when my grandson gets his first apartment in a few months. His movers will be finished later today so I'll go to his house in the morning to run a mop around so the place is spotless for the new owners. Its the least I can do because he is saving my grandson a lot of money and stress! Its a shame to lose such a nice person to a faraway city!

My Dad's neighbours!! Each morning they check to see that his curtains have been opened, they pop round and do odd jobs for him, she brings him yummy homebaked treats...even meals!! He has his own ponds so he helps my Dad maintain his now. Even though we are only a 5 minute drive away is so good knowing he has them and that they will phone us if they have a concern.
They are my ' Stars '.

Thankyou Jiffy for helping me get my big head out of the small hole of the sheep/pig wire that I manage to get stuck into after looking at that nice green grass which is allways greener on the other side for the fence, I pushed my head through the small hole but couldn't get it back because of my ears

Thank you Jiffy for saving me, I was just nibbling the bramble leaves when I got tangle up in the thorns, I've been there for a while and eaten all I could reach, I was also very hot and weak from being in full sun, you can along and untangle me from the brambles so once again a big thank you, from Larry the lamb

 

Just saved another Larry (lamb)with it's head stuck in the sheep wire this morningthen we went over the stile to the next field and I look at a cow which looked like it has just calfed a few days ago, walked over to her and her four legs were straight out and lead on her side, which allways look like it's a dead cow which is what I thought, got up to her she wasn't moving, then she blinked her calf got up and ran, which then the cow got up and ran to her calf, I've never seen a cow rest right on her side before well not like that any way even Miss Jiff had phone out ready to phone farmer
