    One can only marvel at the glorious and varied landscapes of this small country called the UK!! Its amazing but the fact is that the sight of such beautiful scenery can be a life-changing experience!

    Sorry Shiney missed your post. I worked at the Old Dungeon Ghyl Hotel in the Langdale valley. Also fell walked and climbed using that valley as a base - so thats my favourite valley. However I also love Derwentwater for the reflective nature of the lake. Then there's the dark shale slopes of wastewater. (oops I'm back there now :D )
