    but thats how we all learn cajary and that why people like pro gard are here [​IMG] well mine can grow all it wants it can gro0w all it wants it can be much now. its had its last cut [​IMG]

    Yeah. I'm not critising, he's great. I just need the simpler explanations. Probably because I'm a twit.

    Cut it yesterday will carry on cutting if it is dry enough, grass never really stops growing.

    I'm with Walnut on this one it if grows, it will be cut.

    Sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator "If it bleeds we can kill it" but hopefully I won't kill bob's lawn otherwise it will be murder indeed! :D

    Last time I took my mower out for a run was a couple of weeks ago. I got half of it cut and the darn thing packed in, now I'm waiting for it to be repaired. Of course, the weather is warm and wet and the grass is growing like there's no tomorrow.

    Just did some more cutting. It looks as though the grass doesn't intend to stop growing :eek:

    Can you lot get your grass to have a word with my barber? (Hair stylist, I have a reverse mohican.)

    I never completely rest up the lawnmover. this time of year I raise the blades and cut it once or twice in the winter period.

    but you need a dry lawn or it will carve up the turf something horrible.

    think of it this way - if you let the grass grow too long cutting it in the spring will cause havoc anyway

    surely the grass is never dry enough in the winter ? and how much is grass expected to grow surely it wont grow any from end of november to march [​IMG]
