you can have the best equipment in the world .... but if you don't have the correct room/environment, and set it up properly (speakers correctly placed at the correct distances from the walls etc), the system will sound carp
yes, but lets be honest, most people are understandably not interested in that, and 99% can't tell the difference anyway. music is music after all. its only the nerdy (as my wife says!) who would go to those lengths. yes, i can tell the difference in just a couple of mm of left/right and for/aft and tilt etc.... but does it really matter??? nope, not one jot in reality, i can get as much pleasure out of a good song whether in the car, on holiday or at work. its when you start listening to the equipment rather than the music that you need to get a grip.
Yes, you're absolutely right. It's just that for ME, analogue sounds much more 'musical', not as clinical.
You like that tune Jenny? Me too! It's just that there's something about it, so laid back, the timing, the gaps...girt lush There's not much going on, and yet, there's plenty going on...
Can I chuck a track in please? Just have to pick one out of the hat - so many. Hope you like this. Have the DVD - a treat to watch from start to fininsh on a wild, wet, windy, winter's night IMHO,
Such a great tune there Jenny It's taken from Pink Floyds 'Atom Heart Mother'. Wonderful... Here's the original... BTW, I see you got the hang of posting tunes
