    Longk , I must be getting good after over 2 years on GC , I actually recognise 2 from your planting plan :biggrin: And not one daisy flower head in sight !

      Some of them, such as the Lisianthus and Thysanotus, are new to me too!

        I grew them for a friend many years ago. I didn't soak them and had no problem with germination. :)

          Me too, but I assumed they needed warmth and used the propagator. They seemed pretty nesh although they germinated OK. Didn't do at all well in the coold wet summer.

              Then I would follow the instructions. Over time we get a better idea of what works for us, but the first time I always follow the instructions.

              I put dwarf iris seed down in October thinking like the previous year they would be up in a few weeks. I know they like a cold spell but nothing happened. I tried shock treatment, cold air outside and then into the electric propagator, but nothing. I gave up in early December and put them in the greenhouse having pretty much given up on them. This week I have eight of two dozen showing through.......a lesson learned! :)
