My goodness Master your plot is coming on no end it's really hard to believe what you have achieved in such a short time and it's really nice to know that not only is your son getting involved but also your lovely daughter too and it's really nice of you boys to allow the girls to play with the big toys!:D

As you say Pete is really lucky having the lottie on his doorstep at least he can run home for a bacon buttie and be back within five minutes! Hel.xxx.

If the ground is so wet, why is he carrying watering cans?

Unless he is carrying the water away from the allotment :D

You've done some great work there :thumb:

thats just a big bit of black sheeting that i used to cover the plot.nick from the consil said i could use it . but as you can see from the above picks i havent got the black sheets . i craffterly moved them onto the plot next door (next door is not used and i did not wont the grass to go to seed)also if i get a new nabour they get a head start with the weeds. :D I may be simple but I aint stuoooooopid:D:thumb::)

Youve done very well, especially considering it was only cleared earlier this year.

i know in gonna get probs with weeds working it so fast . but as i can walk to the plot in less than 5 mins . i can walk up there each morning have a suss out and pick a feww weeds out each morning
actually it's bloody nice first thing having a short walk and a good bit of fresh air. picking weeds is like a streach . being 6f3 the ground is alongway away

the allotment has changed me . i can take my anger out on slugs, mud and weeds

Good for you TM, yes it's hard to be angry when you've just exhausted yourself digging, weeding or planting. And it's a calming thing too, to garden.

You must be getting pretty chilled out by now, man:)

    cheers

Well done Colin on reaching 200 I must say you do look pretty darn good for your age!:D

Really pleased you are enjoying your plot so much you can tell from your posts that you are getting an awful lot of enjoyment out of it and as you say it's really good for burning off day to day stress you might have, it also allows you to become at one with your surroundings not to mention the lovely veggies you and your family will get out of it as well! Hel.xxx.
