Once again many thanks Walnut! :gnthb:
Fingers crossed for a clear sky - we've not really had one since mid December and the forecast isn't too promising.
I've just had a look at 'Heavens Above' and it seems like there is a slight chance of seeing Mercury and Jupiter too in close conjunction just above the SW horizon.
Time and vis will tell !

Mercury and Jupiter well below the horizon for us tonight, but Venus started the show very early, clear as a bell before dusk.

Hmmmm ... now will I ever be able to take a photo like that I ask myself ..... :lollol::rotfl:

    Ab-so-lute-ly fan-tas-tic photo ...... :gnthb:

Is that Mercury or Venus ... not very good on these things .... :dh:

Don't think we'll see much tonight as there's too much cloud cover, storms were forecast but it's quiet and calm out there now and it's 15c .... sorry peeps ...

When you get that new camera you'll be taking photos that are as good or better!!:gnthb:

The planet's Venus. Tonight was our first clear night for about two weeks or more so I thought I'd give it a try.
