    Another great shot of our moon. Have you captured one during a lunar eclipse, WOO? They tend to have a reddish tinge to them, probably due to our atmosphere.

    Hi Strawman no I have,nt yet,The red ring is due to sunlight being refracted through the Earth's atmosphere - essentially, the combined glow of all the world's sunrises and sunsets. It is the reason why the Moon is not black but reddish during a total lunar eclipse. :thumb::)

    Cheers, Woo. When I saw my last lunar eclipse, I wondered why it looked clear, but reddish and now through your wise and wonderful knowledge, :ntwrth: I'm in awe of it and I understand the reason,:hehe:

    Tues morning 4:15am the Moon and Venus on a close encounter Mon would have been a closer shot had bad weather not stopped play.
