Don't need homebrew to install Linux on a dead badger, but you might need some to calm you down after you'd seen one:snork:

You could make a couple of these. On Hawaii they're the gods to ward off evil visitors.

Or, if she suddenly turns nice, you could make one of these out of wood (I don't think you work in stone)

And then you could dance for joy :dancy:

What about putting it on wheels, then it could move out from behind a tree when it senses movement.:heehee:

Firstly thank you all for the replies, and shiney those sculptures are fantastic.

I'm now thinking of doing something very cruel on a certain gardening forum that has a wildlife section.

My mind must be getting worse as a feel that I should gauge opinion on my new bird feeder idea. The sculpture holds a headless wooden bird and to get at the peanuts, the birds have to fly into the mouth.

The cat nest box gave me the idea, as people seem to either find it funny or get annoyed by it. Unless I have somehow brought it to life, it's just a few bits of wood nailed together.

Now do I wait for April to post it or do it now???

Ref the neighbour, apparently I was making too much noise this evening with my garden shears whilst cutting the edges of grass. How sad is that!:cry3:

You should be ashamed of yourself for making so much noise :nonofinger:. Witches need their ugly sleep in the evenings before going out on their broomsticks. :snork:

Eddie, a few more for you. I think that I may have shown you some of these before

I found the time this afternoon to continue having a play!

It is still a way away from being finished, but the basics are there.

I also found a bit of wood today and made this very simple indian, which took less than ten minutes to make. I have postioned it in a hedge that faces the road, and can be seen by the young kids that walk past on the way to school.

                      Looking most impressive Eddie.

The first pic of the indian looks a bit like Zigs.

                        Looking good Eddie:dbgrtmb:

If you want to do "Propper Mad" there was an old boy in Sherbourne who used to wait till schoolkids walked past his house, everytime one passed he'd bang the wall with a shovel, as if counting them:snork:

He also drew chalk marks round dog poo on the pavement, like little body outlines.

                          A little update for you...

I have just bought a hairdressers head from Ebay for £7.00 and it should add the perfect finish to the latest project. I'll have to make a neck bone for it, make the neck look severed and bloody, but the effect should work well.

I have also spent approx ten hours drilling holes in the scalp of sculpture and fitting horse hair to it. It still isn't finished, but the glue hasn't fully set yet, so I can't continue.

I had hoped to hang the head in the right hand, but it looked rubbish, so I will either have to put it on the floor, or hang it in the left hand and not use the spear.
