Thank you for those kind words Mum.

We do try to keep tabs on all our puppies, Utonagan and Dalmatian alike, new owners are encouraged to send us regular updates and many do so :)

The first of the puppies went off to her new home yesterday, two more leave us today! :cry3:

That is good to know. some breeders demand that their pups are fixed as to keep the line good.

      "Dunder" has a new home!

A lovely family came, saw and fell in love with her today.

She'll be spoilt rotten but it still brought a few tears to my eyes seeing her go. :cry3:

She made a bee-line to their young son who has Downs Syndrome, Methinks they'll be a match made in heaven over the years.

Ahhh, how precious. How was their house breaking issues before they left? Are they good with that? Or are they too young?

All the pups are/were more or less toilet trained, just the occasional accident.

House breaking isn't a term we like to use redstar, bored Utonagan can be VERY destructive!:frown:

So I guess the crate is recommended for a long time when left alone in the house.

And I was thinking, how is the mother dog doing with all these exits of her babies? (forgot her name, sorry)

Blixem, Vixen, Dunder and Dancer have gone to their new homes, Comet goes at the weekend, Prancer is staying with us.

        It's so quiet here now.......

Comet (the poorly boy) has made a full recovery and now eating us out of house and home, he's going to be one very special Utonagan.

On a sadder note, our mentor has decided to give up breeding through ill health passing the mantle over to Carol, which means we are the only "true" original Utonagan breeders left, I'm sure she'll be back after a break but feel honoured she has the confidence in Carol and myself to carry on where she has left off.

So stay true, Vince. Better the breed only which is a good breeders goal.

          I'm keeping Comet :dancy:

Passed on the sorry news to his potential owner today, we've become best mates and I just can't let him go, it broke my heart when Arwen got fostered out, the 800 mile 'round trip to bring her home was well worth it, I feel the same way about our little Comet.....

Carol not too happy BUT I am!

I'll own up, yes we're keeping Comet for now, I wish forever and we are bestest mates.

The truth is, Comet got told off by a dog who stays with us for a couple of hours a day, although not malicious, the result was horrendous, Comet lost an eye!

Comet is fine now and back to his playful antics and lovable self.

I'd like to thank the "Beaumont Sainsbury Veterinary College" in Camden for looking after our little lad and taking such great care of him
