That is exactly what this is all about, having a bit of fun is paramount. Yes, a few of us are semi serious about growing a pumpkin the size of a small family car...but it's still for fun.

I would love to grow a massive one, so big I had to use a chainsaw to carve it..:yikes:

      Steve...:)

My best 2 Pumpkins that are desperate to be planted out (tape extended to 600mm). I'm sure they'll romp after planting in open ground.

my plant has some yellow flecks on the leaves

I'm assuming its a nutrition issue? can anyone advise?

I got two of my plants in last week after strimmimg down the green manure (4ft tall!) and digging it in finally, they are under temp hoop houses for now.

I have planted a third plant in a bit of spare bed at the back of the plot, this has a larger temp hoop house over it as it does not get as much sun as the front of the plot, so it will stay under cover for longer, this was planted and covered just yeesterday.

I'm not sure what that is craig, I don't think it's a mineral deficiency. It could be a virus or is it some splashes from a liquid feed?

That looks pretty good to me Cannyfullpots, under those plastic sheets you might find it's ready to plant up without too much work or did you just put them down?.
