I just go to Lidls but tis only 10 mins away, It is true they do not stock every thing then its off to Asda 10 mins the other way. We are so very lucky here . Farmers market weekly in Wimborne 5 miles. Online mostly for other things as I just cannot cope with the scrabble for parking and the crowds If I do venture into town i'm off at 8am and making my way back an hour later. But then you can do that when your old and don't go out to work any more.

£5's worth of free fruit and veg at Morrisons (not Morrisons Locals) when you add another £5's worth of shopping to your basket (and you won't pay anything for that other stuff if you've followed my free pizza advice above)

Buy copy of today's Sun for 40p [1] to get the voucher shown below. Put £5's worth of fruit & veg in your basket together with £5's worth of other stuff to get the cost up to £10 and you'll get £5 off at the checkout, making the fruit and veg free. You can get it to £5 precisely by adding loose carrots to add 5p (snap in half for smaller amounts) or loose bananas, small for 7p, large 12p.

For the other stuff start off with another copy of the Sun @ 40p. Then add a pack of 'Try me free' Alpen muesli [2] @ £2.78 (you have to pay the 53p postage), leaving only £1.72's worth of stuff to add. If you've been buying Ristorante pizzas @ £1.50 which had a code inside to print off a £1.50 voucher, use a couple of those to get it over £10. That's only 93p to pay for £11.18's worth of shopping.

[1] Spend £5 (including cost of paper) at Waitrose and get the paper free. Including an expensive TMF helps get the cost to nothing. EDIT Can't get Sun free any more, only expensive papers where you actually have to spend less to get them free
[2] That TMF Muesli is £1.78 at Sainsburys, so taking the shop up to £15 would get you £1.11 Match&More price promise refund if using your card. N.B. If you have free pizzas in your shop it will muck this up as they're more expensive at Sainsburys and negate the price promise. If this offer had been a week ago when they were the same price we would have been paid 18p to take away all our shopping!

P.S. If you've not been getting the free Pizzas already, add 4 x Dr Oekter Ristorante pizzas in the special boxes with the codes @ £1.50 to add £6 to the £5's worth of fruit & veg, then go back and get another 4, then print and get another 4, etc., all of which could be with more voucher and £5's worth of free fruit & veg with every shop.

P.P.S. If anybody's getting the Daily Mirror today for the £10 off £50 voucher, buy that as part of the £10 shop to add another 55p towards the 2nd £5.

P.P.P.S. There's 20p cashback from Checkoutsmart for buying a Savoy Cabbage. Every little helps!

These are the pizzas to get. If you don't like pizza buying them and giving them away will get you free fruit & veg.

We've been very restrained and only bought 11 copies. Did four £10 shops this morning buying free pizzas and TMF museli (we use our daughter's Uni accommodation as an extra address and she gets the money backs as extra financial assistance). One of the £5 f&g shops was all 75% off reduced so a £35's worth for £1.60's cost of newspapers.

With loads of pizza vouchers you can actually be paid to take he stuff away from Morrisons because several items have 'Match & More' points worth:

        Mushrooms, £2.79, 100 points worth 10p
        3 Oranges £1.86 20p
        3 Onions 99p 10p
        Mediterranean veg 99p 10p
        Cauli & broc florets 99p 10p
        Veg selection 99p 5p

So you can use 4 pizza vouchers which are for £1.50 and as they are £1.49 each that's 4p back, get another 50p in Match & More points, less 40p for The Sun, and you get paid 14p to relieve Morrisons of 4 x £1.49 pizzas and £5's worth of fruit & veg.

This morning's haul, £35's worth of fruit & veg, 2 packs of Muesli and 12 pizzas, all for only a £1.60 spend on 4 newspapers + two 2nd class stamps

I forgot another way to increase your saving, buy some of these Heinz mayonnaise varieties as part of the £5 top up to £10 and get it free to use on your free salad stuff served with your free pizza http://www.heinz.co.uk/en/Products/Mayonnaise/News/Heinz-Mayonnaise

I think the ones we bought were £2.79 and we made a Price Promise profit on each (free) one because they were £2 at Asda.

As I've previously advised, always get a few extra copies of supermarkets' magazines if they have vouchers in, and always hang onto the vouchers until their expiry date and that can be long after the next issue comes out.

In the last Sainsburys magazine was a voucher for 50p Anchor Cheddar which is now on offer at Sainsburys for £2.00, getting it down to £1.50. If you're a member of Topcashback (free) you can upload that receipt and get 50p cashback for Anchor Lighter Cheddar (see P.S.) which can be exchanged for Tesco Clubcard Points with a 5% bonus (max £50 per 12 month period), so 52 points worth £1.04 if used during a double up promotion, getting the cost of that 350g of cheese down to 46p.

          http://www.topcashback.co.uk/SnapAndSave/upload/2396

Then you recommend OH for Topcashback membership and they go to Sainsburys with another coupon and buy another piece of cheese and claim 50p. You then stop uploading receipts to your account and concentrate on getting OH's cashback up to £10 which is quite easy as recently there's been £3 when buying a £3 pumpkin and £3 when buying £3's worth of advent calendars. When you they have get their balance up to £10, you will get a £15 cashback bonus and they will get a £5 M&M voucher.

So for just a little bit of effort taking pics of receipts and uploading them (or getting car/house insurance, motoring assistance, etc, via TCB) and with some of the stuff with cashback there's money off vouchers to be had, you'll get:

You £15.50 in cashback that can be exchanged for £16.27 in points and doubled up to £32.54.

OH £10.00 in cashback that can be exchanged for £10.50 in points and doubled up to £21.00, plus a £5 M&S voucher.

OH then recommends your daughter, who recommends your son, with the action moving from one account to another to collect the bonuses and vouchers.

          sainsburys moc.jpg

P.S. You can get that cheese for the same price at Tesco if part of a £12 dairy shop, but might be more convenient for some to get a single at Sainsburys, plus the chance of some interesting vouchers at the checkout. N.B. Whatever type of Anchor you get at Tesco they all show just as "CHEDDAR" on the receipt and some naughty person who prefers the mature stuff could upload the receipt for that and still get the cashback!

How to get £9.02's worth of cheese for £5.02, plus two free packs of free yogurts:

Using Checkoutsmart you can get both flavours of Oykos yogurt for free. There is also a printable coupon for £1 off when you buy 2 packs using the Danone link above. They are classed as dairy so count towards the £12 spend at Tesco to get £3 off using the voucher in the Xmas mag.

We're actually going to get it all for only £1.22, because we have 2 other vouchers to get 2 x £1 dairy products for free and a save £3 off £20 that's valid from Monday. Our fridge is stuffed with ridiculously cheap cheese, yogurts and free salad stuff from Morrisons, and we've got a couple of dozen free pizzas in the freezers.

If the £9.02 of dairy contains a 'half price' 350g of Anchor Cheddar you can also get 25p cashback/50 Clubcard Points from TopCashBack - post above. That'll get the cost to us below £1. I knew we were going to have some fun with those dairy vouchers, I hope I can find £24's worth of cheese reduced to half price in the reduction chiller cabinet before they expire.

And if not already redeemed, don't forget to add a Try Me Free pack of Leerdammer costing £1.78 and get a £2 coin back, as posted above to get another 22p off + free cheese slices.

You're doing well. Next step is for those extra bits to include something like a £1.29 can of Heinz Tuscan beans which you can get a full refund on from Checkoutsmart when you get home. Deals like this allow us to afford treats like a couple of punnets of strawberries with cream (part of a Tesco 'dairy shop') and we've bought lots of cabbages for our hens and they will also get some of our grapes.

We got more money off our last shop than we thought because on entering the codes to get another load of free pizzas we won a £10 gift card

There's very often wine 'glitches' at Tesco around this time of year where you get multi-saves and case reductions working together and the deduction for buying in multiples of 6 coming off the pre-reduction price. As I produce my own homebrew I very rarely buy wine, but I did get a couple of cases (all they had left instore) of Chardonnay @ when it was £1.50/bottle http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/tes...e-glitch-proof-maths-also-avail-other-1350821

The pizzas that work out free with the £1.50 vouchers are £1.49 until 7th Dec. Make a diary note. According to mysupermarket, these are also £1.50 at Asda.

As I discovered the Oykos yogurts mentioned above both have 200 Match & More Points (20p) I got them in my last Morissons shop consisting of £5's worth of fruit & veg, 2 x £1.49 pizzas, 2 x Oykos Yogurts @ £1.49 each, total £10.96. Used the Sun £5, Danone £1 and 2 x £1.50 pizza vouchers, paid balance of £1.96 and got 40p in points. Uploaded receipt to Checkoutsmart and got £2.96 cashback for the yogurts.

Taking account of the 40p cost of a Sun, that means I've been paid £1 to relieve Morrisons of £10.96's worth of shopping. Free is my favourite price, but being paid to take it away is even better.
