The feed I've been using is Tomorite. Is that a good one. I was only feeding once a week as that's all I thought you gave them but have increased to twice weekly. Hope that is correct. I've also got some Miracle Gro all purpose concentrated liquid plant food. is that good.

Wow they look fantastic. I'm gonna get well excited to see my first ripe red tomato.

Your toms are about the same as the ones I started in march so I would say you are doing well and should be eating some soon. It always seems to take forever for the first ones to ripen but when they do start they come regularly. Going on my timing those sown in March should be producing ripe fruit this month, so you are well on track looking at the fruits in your picture.
Your fruits will start to ripen this month and go on through August ,September, October and possibly into November until the frost stops everything.
          Regards Sandy

The tomato variety is SAKURA. The blue one is indigo blue

Yes I use that sometimes, it's the same composition as the Wilkos feed (only slightly more expensive).

At that size the plants won't be using lots of water so your water spikes could work, I'd advise using them straight away to see how long they keep your plants watered. If you had enough you could double up for each plant maybe.

Fed my 15 Tomato plants with Tomato Feed. There's more fruit appearing but they all seem to be at least 2 weeks behind the norm.:dunno::snorky:

Tomatoes have reached the top ....6' plus....looking healthy and with fruits and flowers. With all this sunshine they should taste very good. I find toms tastier with less water applied too :)
High humidity so I am conscious to keep foliage dry and good air circulation (As soon as lowest leaves begin to yellow they are removed) to prevent blight. :)

I've purchased Chempak NO.4 High Potash Plant Feed earlier so will try that instead of the Tomorite.

Good choice as it has those extra trace elements tomatoes need. I think it is more concentrated than Tomorite so apologies if this sounds obvious, make sure you don't overfeed and follow the instructions on the pack.

I will do thank you. I've just taken the triangular back piece of glass out of greenhouse and have the window and door open as it was hitting over 40c. Is this a good idea to do? Was thinking of putting a piece of cardboard in at nights.

I'm also wondering if it benefits them ripening faster if you take some leaves of above the fruit or below? Does that help.
