    I have been very disappointed

I think mine taste better, however I had such a glut early August I overloaded on them, I slowed right down on eating them towards the middle of August giving most away. I have now started eating quite a few again so thinking they taste better may be a result of overloading. Saying that my crimson crush have been disappointing, I suffered the same as John with fruits varying greatly in size but all had no taste even now. My basket filler Shirley is far better tasting.

So then! What is the sweetest cherry tomato then?:noidea:
My GD have been tasty,.prolific and healthy but it seems the taste for many is not quite as it used to be
I am considering Sweet Petite, Sungold and Sweet Million???

Sungold is very tasty too, better than Sweet Apatitif, IMO.

I rate the taste of Sungold as the best this year, but I'm throwing half of them away as they split either on the plant or soon after picking.

For a good all rounder cherry, early, high yield, sweet and great taste then for me Suncherry is the best.

Also the GD I've grown from 2005 & 2012 seed are super tasty, not as sweet as others but more a proper tangy tomato taste.

‘Sungold’ is always my pick, even with the splitting issue.

That is the taste of GD I have been looking for, tangy especially when the jelly around the seeds is still a little green. The plants I am growing this year are very sweet but not tangy. It is hard to differentiate between my gardeners delight, Sun cherry and
sun cherry premium. Once all three are in a bowl together you can not tell which is which when you eat them
                    Regards Sandy

It’s a tough choice as there’s so many to pick from! Definitely up there though

                              No woodlice damage this time.

That is because I used the anti-woodlice barrier fabric.
