Thanks for the comments guys, I'm hoping my fruit garden will come good, could probably do with another variety of honeyberry as I've heard they produce better with different variety's about, goji is a gamble but figured why not...
I am going for fruits that can be plucked and eaten straight away and nothing too tarty like currents etc. Chokeberries sound rather sour if eaten raw so I'll pass on those, the snowberry and a framberry might work their way on to my list though..
I just planted in my Chilean Guava yesterday, I have 2 varieties of that and am hoping they produce well, they sound interesting, anyone on here growing some and can speak about the fruits? Here is the video of planting my Guava showing the different types I have

Blaenau Ffesteringhog was written B-i-r-m-i-n-g-h-a-m before you drank the wine. I use rowanberries to make a kind of jelly to eat with lamb.

As regards unusual fruits, how about these?

For anyone interested, here I am planting my Tayberry, the plant that inspired my fruit garden:

What are those fruits Sandy, they do look unusual indeed?

don't show me links like that with their 17 pages of unusual fruits, I already have little to no room left without just digging up all my lawn and ornamental stuff which I've already been tempted to do...

They are Cherokee Purple tomatoes. A variety dating back before 1890 when @shiney and I were young! Not the GM purples available today. I was offered seeds to grow some yesterday or the day before.

I was thinking that it was a mistype, Sandy, and knew you really meant 1790.:dunno::whistle::heehee:

I don't really grow much veg at the moment (I know a tom is a fruit but still...), I'm just trying to concentrate on different berry flavours at the moment, if I get an allotment whihc I've put my name down for, I might expand out, in the mean time here is a little lingonberry I bought and forgot to include in the list, supposed to be a slightly sweeter juicier version of a cranberry

If you want to know what lingon taste like, all you need to do is go to your nearest Ikea store, and order meatballs from their café. They are usually served with lingon jelly
