            I did always wonder if decking was actually safe to use, even though I ploughed on and made all my raised beds from it, but looking up online it looks like they've become safer over time, I just wondered as I don't have any lining in them, just soil against wood

                Hi @The Unusual Fruit Garden if you want to keep the decking stable clear the soil from the edge as much as you can and treat it from the inside besides the outside as it helps the wood...ours is done in the inside and out, even though it's lined and got gravel in it and it's kept our decking around the edges sturdy for a good 9yrs :)

                    I didn't notice this until it was too late, they went cheap but I do already have 2 of these and don't think I'd fit 3 more in, what with my mulberry just arriving too
