My January sown self branching celery is growing well under lights (both T5s and cheapo LEDs), might have to construct a cloche within a polytunnel to protect it as it'll probally be ready for planting out at the end of April, will try and delay planting some by potting up into deep rose pots.

I sowed some more in February and have sown some more today, so I should find out which early sowing works the best.

P.S. @Zigs When did you sow that Land Cress

Still dry and fine here with a little sun left; sunshine all morning :). Kidding myself
I think that it will not snow here!!!
Potted on a few annuals, took more pelargonium cuttings and loosened veg patch soil for planting out onion sets in a few days. Resisted the temptation to cut back the dogwoods .....I want to hang on a little longer to the scene of a speckled white hellebore in the distance behind the red stems :) A white arum lily also contrasted well until the Beast from the East collapsed it last week
Pelargoniums in pots outside have suffered....... they have survived the past 3 years or so outside.....so yanked them out. They even flowered at times over the winter but a chance now to ring the changes
Oops! Posted on the veg growing thread:sad:

It's okay Zigs, when it comes to growing your own veggies, I suppose that quality is more important than quantities!

I have never tasted Oca before tho...:loll:

That's hilarious Zigs. Maybe you don't even like how it tastes like:gaah:. If I were you I would try a little piece of it and if it's any good, then I would grow it... lol
